Neodymium was first used as a shielding metal in the early twentieth century. It has many uses and has been used in its pure state, or as an alloy, since about 1880. There is also a second, more rare form of Neodymium which is rarer than the original and is used for jewelry, not satellites and space exploration.

Neodymium is composed of two parts, Na and Al. In the pure form, Neodymium is a silver-gray metal. When an alloy is mixed with other metals, the Na atoms in the middle are lost. However, the Al atoms stay, making the new alloy lighter and the Neodymium itself, which is now called “neodymium”, weighs the same. You might think that Neodymium is just another of the many metals that have been used in any number of products, from pens to stoves to watches to magnetic jewelry. In fact, there are so many uses for Neodymium that I’m going to mention all of them in this article.

Because it’s silver, it creates a jewelry item that can be worn by women of any age or color.

You may be familiar with German silver, which is one of the most popular kinds of silver today. German silver comes from precious materials and uses special processes in order to ensure that they are very durable. German silver is used for precious metals that need to be durable for many years. Neodymium is just one of those.

Neodymium has been used in automobile bodies since the 1950s. It’s high strength allows it to withstand impacts without denting. In addition, it’s light weight makes it easier to install in a car body, and its resistance to corrosion means that the car body will not rust over time.
